How do I use this Vietnamese keyboard?
Type using Telex, the most popular way to type Vietnamese. Double a vowel for a circumflex (aa → â, ee → ê, oo → ô), add w for a horn or breve (aw → ă, ow → ơ, uw → ư), and type dd for đ. For example Vieejt Nam gives Việt Nam. You can also click or tap the letters on the on-screen keyboard.
How do I type the tones?
Type a tone key anywhere after the vowel, usually at the end of the word: s for sắc (á), f for huyền (à), r for hỏi (ả), x for ngã (ã) and j for nặng (ạ). The mark is placed on the right vowel automatically, so tieengs gives tiếng and nguwowif gives người. Type z to remove a tone.
How do I type an English word with s, f, r, x or j in it?
Type the letter twice. For example buss gives bus. The same works for doubled vowels and w: aaa gives aa.
