How do I use this IPA keyboard?
Type ordinary letters on your own keyboard, and click or tap the IPA symbols you need on the on-screen keyboard: for example ˈ, θ, ɪ, ŋ, k gives /ˈθɪŋk/. When you have finished, press Copy to copy your transcription.
Where are the vowels, consonants and stress marks?
The first two rows are vowels, from close to open. The next three rows are pulmonic consonants, then clicks, implosives and affricates. The last row has the stress marks ˈ and ˌ, the length marks ː and ˑ, diacritics such as nasal ̃ and aspiration ʰ, and the intonation arrows. A diacritic is added to the letter before it, so type the letter first.
